I will overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
