The Congressional oversight panel has made public a batch of approximately 70 images from the estate of late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third such disclosure from a larger collection of in excess of 95,000 images the panel has secured from Epstein's property. It includes pictures of passages from the book Lolita inscribed across a woman's body, and obscured images of female overseas passports.

This action arrives just hours before the 19th of December due date for the DOJ to release every files associated with its inquiry into Epstein.

"These new photographs pose more queries about exactly what the Justice Department has in its holdings," stated the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Released

A number of the photographs published on recently show Epstein speaking with academic and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a private plane; Bill Gates standing next to a female whose face is censored; Steve Bannon positioned at a table opposite Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the latest affluent, prominent individuals to be pictured in Epstein's estate images published by the committee - earlier released pictures also include US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the photos is is not considered proof of any illegal activity, and a number of the photographed men have asserted they were never implicated in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a statement accompanying the photo release, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein estate did not supply context or timeframes for the photographs.

"Photos were selected to furnish the public with transparency into a typical cross-section of the images acquired from the estate, and to give insights into Epstein's circle and his extremely disturbing behavior," the announcement states.

The disclosure also features a number of images of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita penned in dark ink across various areas of a female's body, like her chest, lower extremity, hipbone, and spine. Lolita narrates the account of a minor who was manipulated by a older literature professor.

A particular excerpt from the book written across a female's chest says, "Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a collection of images of women's passports and identification documents from countries worldwide, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the papers, including identities and DOBs, is censored but the panel stated in a statement that the travel documents belong to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were involved with".

An additional photograph shows Epstein seated at a workstation closely flanked by three women whose identities have been censored - a first has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his shirt, and a second is leaning to look at a adjacent laptop. Epstein can be seen to be aiding the final person put on a bracelet.

An additional photograph released is a image of digital messages from an unknown individual who says they have been sent "some girls" and are asking for "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Image Release Occurs Ahead of DOJ Cut-off

The panel has a vast number of images in its holdings from the Epstein property, which are "both disturbing and mundane," its statement on recently noted.

The Congressional committee first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photographs and files the Epstein estate submitted to the body are distinct from what is largely called "the Epstein files". That material are documents within the Department of Justice's possession associated with its independent investigation into Epstein.

In accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which Donald Trump made law recently, the DOJ has until 19 December to publish its documents. The full nature of what is found in the DOJ's records is not publicly known, and it's likely that much of the information will be extensively redacted, akin to Congressional releases
