Recent Processing Facility Attack Reveals 'No Secure Areas in the Russian Deep Rear'

Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have hit the Russian oil processing plant in Ufa, located some 1,400 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, resulting in detonations and a inferno, according to a source in the Ukrainian intelligence agency.

Energy Restoration Operations in the Capital

Operations proceeded on Saturday to restore power in Kyiv, after Russian attacks.

Electricity had been restored to over 800,000 citizens by the weekend and the largest private energy company said the key work to restore power was complete though partial blackouts continued.

Anti-Aircraft Efforts and UAV Interceptions

The Ukrainian air defences downed or disrupted 54 of 78 enemy drones deployed against Ukraine overnight, the military said on the weekend.

Russia's military authorities stated it shot down 42 enemy drones over its own soil.

Cuba Refutes Allegations of Providing Forces to the War

The Cuban government on Saturday refuted US allegations it has deployed military personnel to participate in the conflict in Ukraine, while affirming officials in Havana "are without precise data about Cuban nationals" involved "on their own" or "within the troops of the conflicting parties".

The ministry in the capital announced 26 Cubans had been convicted to incarceration varying between five up to fourteen years for mercenary involvement since the autumn of 2023 when news circulated of Cuban nationals being dispatched to the frontlines in Ukraine.

Surrender Initiative Initiative Reports Information on Cuban National Recruitment
